2m² is a journey between source and mouth and shows an increasingly blurred border between nature and artifice. The video stems from the awareness that we live in an era in which human beings have forever changed the biodiversity of the natural world but at the same time the female cast on the banks of the river also suggests an idea of care and the emergence in the near future of an ecology characterized by a sharing of the human and other natural / cultural creatures.
2m² is a video installation made for the artistic project "Abitare: due metri quadri di geografia" by Federica Tavian Ferrighi. The multimedia installation was conceived on the occasion of "Lifes Loves Landscape", the Padua festival dedicated to Landscape, and was placed at the Geography Museum of the University of Padua.
